Searching Scoot

Scoot places comprehensive details of over 1.8 million UK businesses and organisations at your fingertips.

How to use Scoot's online business search

There are three steps to searching:

  1. Who or what?
Type a business name into the "I need who" box, or alternatively, type a product or service name into the "or what" box
  2. Where?
Type a town, county or the first part of a postcode into the "where" box. If you'd prefer to search the whole of the UK, leave this box empty.
  3. Search
Click the "search" button to start your search.

Search tips

To search for a particular business or organisation, use the "I need who" field to search for that particular name.

When searching for a product or service, using the "or what" box, Scoot uses keywords to find the closest possible match to your search terms, ie. Ford dealer or bargain flights.
