About Woking

Woking is a large town in Surrey in the South East of England, around 23 miles from London. Woking offers first rate shopping with the excellent Peacocks Shopping Centre hosting all the high street favourites and the older Wolsey Place offering a more traditional experience. Local attractions include Woking Palace, Woking Miniature Railway and The Martian, a striking piece of modern sculpture that celebrates Woking being the setting of HG Wells famous novel War Of The Worlds.
