Shropshire is a large traditional county in the West Midlands of England. It borders the counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and the Welsh counties of Powys and Clwyd. Its main towns and cities include Shrewsbury, Telford, Oswestry, Bridgnorth, Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Ludlow.
