London is the capital city of England that lies on the River Thames in the South East of the country. The most highly populated city in the European Union, London is a bustling metropolis and is one of the world's major business, political and cultural centres. London is also one of the worlds major tourist destinations with iconic sights such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Houses Of Parliament and Tower Bridge being recognised the world over.
