Dudley is a city in West Midlands in England. Close to Wolverhampton and Birmingham. The largest town in the Black Country area, Dudley's industrial past lies in heavy industry such as steel mills, iron foundries and more importantly coal and limestone mining. Though industry has declined since the early 1900's, Dudley remains a thriving town with a busy high street and a range of attractions that encourage tourism in the area. Dudley Zoo, Black Country Living Museum, Dudley Museum And Art Gallery and the Dudley Canal are popular with visitors to Dudley with the museums and galleries offering a range of exhibitions and displays throughout the year.
