Online business directory, scoot.co.uk, has launched a new page on its website that enables consumers to browse its rapidly expanding database of special offers and discount vouchers at local businesses in the UK.
Companies who advertise on Scoot can add special offers, coupons or discount vouchers to their listings to attract more consumers to their business. This new browser allows consumers to see all special offers on the site or to segment them by clicking on a geographical area of the UK map.
Each special offer has a link back to the advertiser’s information page on Scoot where consumers can see more detail including addresses, telephone numbers, descriptions, websites, maps, directions, photos, coupons and even videos. They can also print the coupon for presentation in store.
To keep informed of the latest offers in their area, consumers can sign up for Scoot’s regular special offers email newsletter or follow ScootSpoffers on Twitter. Local special offers are also featured on Scoot’s recently launched iPhone application which uses the phone’s GPS capability to locate the user, then find the nearest business such as cafe, bank, restaurant, petrol station and more.
