Wessex Garages Bristol If you purchase a new vehicle from Wessex Garages as I did, I strongly suggest you get any promises made from the sales staff IN WRITING. I purchased a new Nissan Note in August 2010. At the point of sale, the sales representative assured me that as part of the deal the first three services would be free- of-charge. He further stated that the relevant documentation would come directly from Nissan UK, and that it could take up to six months: the documentation did not arrive. I again contacted Wessex Garages Bristol. Their representative stated he would sort the matter out and ring me the following day - he never did. I contacted Nissan UK customer services who said they could not help me. This admission came after three calls over a four-week period. Finally, I spoke to the Sales Manager at Bristol Wessex Garages, who said he would resolve the matter and phone me the following day - this he did. However, he stated that no such servicing deal applied to my purchase, and that in effect I was mistaken: this is not the case. So what is the moral of this sad tale? Do not trust the word of the sales staff at Bristol Wessex Garages. ANYTHING YOU ARE PROMISED GET IT IN WRITING!
