About us Andy and Helen James, Owners DADW offers a convenient ,affordable, reliable and efficient service to dog owners. The concept came about when we were on holiday in the USA and we saw several mobile grooming parlours and thought what a fantastic idea. The rest is history. We soon saw the demand for mobile grooming services and the business became an immediate success. We eventually had 3 vans specially converted for grooming. We saw the opportunity of making this business available to dog lovers who would like to share in our success.

HOW & WHERE IS IT DONE?

The main service: Full clips or trims, Washing & drying - flea rinse, conditioning and deodorising, Nail clipping, I.D microchipping, pet insurance. Mobile pet grooming is the way forward to having your pet groomed and is gaining popularity fast because of its convenience for busy dog owners. Where is it done? The grooming is done outside your home or work place.The vans used are fully equipped with a warm water hydro-bath, grooming table and all the necessary equipment to give your dog the same bath , blow-dry and cut he would get if you left him at a grooming shop. In the winter months the vans are heated to keep your dog warm. More Convenience for the dog owner is substantial. Not only is this a huge time saver for the owners but also the stress of grooming for the dog is greatly reduced

LESS STRESS

When the groomer comes to you it is a totally different experience for the dog. No more leaving the dog at a shop for several hours stuck in a cage and surrounded by noises and other barking dogs. We arrive at your home in our clean warm heated vans. We then familiarise ourselves with your dog and the service your require. Your dog is then taken to our van where he is given undivided attention by one of our qualified groomers. You can accompany your dog if you wish. First, they will be brushed to loosen any knots and loose hair. The nails will also be trimmed. We will also examine the dog for any irregular lumps or infections etc. and discuss them with you should anything be found. If clipping is required then this will be discussed. Your dog will then receive a therapeutic warm hydro bath which loosens further dead hair and skin, and we will massage into their coats a premier insect repellent shampoo, which helps to revitalise the coat and skin. These are made with only natural plant extracts. We then use a luxury conditioner to soften the fur and help protect against breakage. We then dry the dog, brush further and finish with a nice smelling dog cologne which contains 9 essential oils.
