Gwent is a county in South East Wales, bordered by the River Wye to the east and the Severn Estuary to the south. Its main towns and cities are Newport, Abergavenny, Blackwood, Caldicot, Chepstow, Ebbw Vale, Monmouth, New Tredegar, Pontypool and Tredegar.
