Wrexham is a town in North West Wales, that sits beside the River Gwenfro. The town has a strong mining and brewing tradition and though these industries may have declined, retail and manufacturing industries have been quick to take their place. As with many mining communites there is a strong sense of pride and this is readily displayed at the Bersham Colliery Mining Museum, Bersham Ironworks And Visitors Centre and Bersham Heritage Centre. Another attraction is St. Giles Church, one of the "Seven Wonders of Wales" and burial place of Elihu Yale, benefactor of Yale University, USA.
