It borders the English counties of Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire and faces the Irish Sea on West of the country. Its main towns and cities include Swansea, Newport, Wrexham, Cardiff , Rhyl, Fishguard, Bangor, Abersytwyth, Carmarthen. Llandudno and Holyhead.
