We wanted a new washer for the mains inlet tap, and the kitchen sink mixer tap changed for a new model supplied by us. They did the work promptly and to our satisfaction. Unfortunately the plumber took away the old tap, which was in good condition and which we had planned to sell 2nd hand. There were also errors on the invoice. Although the job was done within an hour we were invoiced for an hour and a half. When we protested this was corrected verbally although no actual new invoice was issued. Also, we were charged £6 (net) for the mains tap washer, which seemed a bit steep. Although the return of our old tap has been repeatedly promised that has not yet happened. We shall try a different plumber next time we need one.
