Kidderminster

Kidderminster is a town in the south of Worcestershire, situated to the South West of Birmingham and to the north of Worcester, it is historically known as a centre for the UK carpet industry with some of the countries largest manufacturers being based there. Its location on both the River Stour and the Staffordshire And Worcestershire Canal gives some indication to the industrial influence this has had upon the area and its legacy is apparent with the likes of the Kidderminster Railway Museum and The Carpet Museum Trust giving an insight into the towns heritage.
