Halifax is a town in West Yorkshire, England. Close to Bradford and Leeds, the town has played a large part in the textiles trade and industry throughout the ages and much of the former industrial land has been reclaimed by nature, making Calderdale an ideal day out with lots of parkland. In such an historic area it should come as no suprise that there are a wealth of museums and historic sites to visit. Popular attractions include the Duke Of Wellingtons Regiment Museum, Eureka and the Victoria Theatre.
