Bradford is a city in West Yorkshire, in the north of England. Historically a city with strong links to the textile and wool industries, Bradford has developed into a large, multi-cultural settlement and one of the major cities of the north. Its University brings over 10,000 students to the city and this input added to Bradford's cultural mix makes for an exciting and vibrant city. The city is well known for the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, which has an Imax cinema. There is also an Industrial Museum, and Cartwright Hall in Lister Park houses an art gallery. Its city centre offers superb shopping and vibrant nightlife as well as varied dining, with the city being known as 'The Curry Capital Of Britain' due to 200 plus Asian restaurants being based in the Bradford area.
