Roofconsult Ltd is a roofing consultancy based in Sussex in the UK. The company was set up in 2001 by the current managing director David Roy, as independent roofing consultant specialising in flat roofing and metal sheeting & cladding. The company was incorporated in the UK in 2003.
We carry out roofing surveys throughout the UK, for both building owners and main contractors, generally in the industrial or commercial sectors. Each roof inspection will be accompanied by a detailed report giving recommendations for any work required. We will also supply a specification for the works, suggestions on suitable roofing contractors and will monitor site progress as required.

As an independent roofing consultant we can give impartial advice on the different roof system available in the market place, and recommend those most suitable for your roofing problem identified in the roofing survey.
In additional to roofing surveys, as a roofing and cladding consultant we also offer design advice to roofing contractors, suppliers, main contractors and architects, including relevant calculations

Managing Director - David Roy
For over twenty years, David was a member of the technical department of a major national roofing and cladding contractor, for five years as Technical Director.
His responsibilities included monitoring and maintaining the Quality System for the company, representing the company on the Flat Roofing Alliance technical committee and the National Federation of Roofing Contractors sheeting & cladding committee.
He was also a member of a number of British Standard committees, including BS6229, flat roofing and BS5427 sheeting and cladding.
David is a Fellow of Institute of Roofing and was technical advisor on "Tarmac Flat Roofing a Guide to Good Practice", and joint author "Ruberoid Flat Roofing a Guide to Good Practice" published in 1995
