We started importing about five years ago because of the big demand for Japanese cars and their quality, reliability, performance and luxury and low-mileage. Midlands Specialist Cars started in the Family & 4x4 market and moved into specialist cars, modified, drift cars and drag cars which are massively popular in Japan. Our goal to bring this style of car to the UK has proved a major success for us.
Our aim was to become the UK's #1 for japanese imports. To make this happen, we merged with a company in Japan and became sole UK agents. We currently have around 40 staff working and further 6 are dedicated to continuously buying these specialist cars.We have 3 mechanics, 1 of which is a fully trained modifier / tuner that once worked for the [top secret] biggest modifier in Japan. He has worked on most of our cars and has accomplished astounding feats in motor modification.
We can also supply Japanese used engines, transmision, turbos, clutches, suspensions etc. Our buying power is very big at the moment and savings can be passed direct to our customers.
