Act Training was established in 1993 to provide training and testing to individuals, businesses and organisations in Coventry, Warwickshire, West Midlands and the wider area.
Training is provided in Computer Applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll; Professional IT subjects such as CompTIA A plus, CompTIA N plus, MCP, MCSA, MCSE and CISCO; Office skills such as Bookkeeping, Accounting, Pitman & Teeline Shorthand, OCR Text Processing and Keyboard skills. These subjects are taught on site as individuals or in groups, off site or on-line.
There are a variety of qualifications that can be earned including the European Computer Driving License (ECDL), OCR Bookkeeping, Accounting, Digital Literacy and Text/ Word Processing and Keyboarding.
A variety of Educational & Psychological Testing & Assessments are carried out by trained professionals. These are often used to test for Dyslexia and are used as evidence for extra time in examinations and to support applications for DSA (Disabled Students' Allowances).
