Kingsland Surveyors

KINGS A firm of Land, Architectural and Utility Surveyors, have over the years undertaken a wide range of survey works on contracts, both in the United Kingdom and overseas since the company’s foundation. UK Clients include Rail Track, National Westminster Bank, Southern Water PLC, Thames Water PLC, RAF, Metropolitan Police and numerous Architects, Consultants, Hospital Trusts, Developers and Local Authorities. We are a member of the UK Land and Hydrographic Survey Association A body that is dedicated to raising the standards of the survey profession in the UK. It's members are regularly vetted both financially and technically. By using a TSA member you are protected by a carefully regulated membership system.

Land Surveys

All topographical surveys are now undertaken using robotic total stations linked to automatic data recording computers. This enables our surveyors to accurately record all the information and details of the site with total integrity of data KINGS use the latest computer software available to process the survey data and to maintain quality controls. On larger surveys or where accurate control points or three dimensional baselines are required to be established we now employ the use of Satellite Positioning Equipment. The global network of 24 satellites is now fully established enabling our surveyors to pinpoint a feature of interest any where in the world to centimeter or less accuracy. KINGS use the latest computer software available to process the survey data and to maintain quality controls. Digital data is available in either 2D or 3D to a variety of industry standard formats including AutoCAD, DXF, Moss, PDS Eclipse etc.

Photogrammetry

Our experienced surveyors accurately measure a series of points and take digital photographs of the area to be recorded then, based on the measured points, the photographs are 'rectified' and stitched together to form a complete co-ordinately correct image. KINGS produce a co-ordinately correct photographic image which combines the accuracy of an elevation with the detail and visual impact of a photograph Using Digital Photogrammetry we are able to process information from photographs to achieve accurately scaled 3D models of buildings, pipe-work structures, plant measurements from inaccessible areas. The SISCAM software we use, exports images in TIFF and JPEG format and can be read by all AutoCAD compatible Cads. Digital data is available in either 2D or 3D to a variety of industry standard formats including AutoCAD, DXF.....set out above is just a taste of the surveying services, we can offer.
