This company is an RIBA Chartered Practice. We carry out a range of architectural work including: Giving building advice and preparing designs and if required working drawings and brief specifications; assisting you in placing building contracts; supervising building work, issuing valuation certificates and a final certificate of completion. (The pictures show a Medieval Barn refurbishment, a new library wing to an Edwardian house and an office and workshop in a conservation area.)
We normally only carry out work within a 15 mile radius of Leatherhead. Exceptions are made for new build, self-build and projects with major environmentally friendly aspects. (E.g. a straw bale house or a largely below ground house.)
We are keen to incorporate environmentally friendly designs, materials and techniques, if the client agrees/wishes. These could include: Solar panels to heat water; Solar panels to generate electricity; Ground and air sourced heat pumps: Passive or forced heat recovery; Higher than minimum insulation standards; Rainwater harvesting; Heat gain and cooling by physical design, by orientation, where site permits and appropriate use of different materials.
