sent my lads BMX bike in for rebuild ,was told 2 days.I rang onm the 2nd day to see how they were going,was told that they hadnt started it but would crack on with it rang on the third day late in the afternoon was told then that they still hadnt started it and that they had some one of ill and that it might be friday or monday I asked why they hadnt rang to tell me that they had problems.They were just apathetic to the job even after quoting top money for the job which I hadnt questioned.I was told that I was welcome to pick it up which would have lost me further time with my son winding me up hour by hour I asked that they crack on with it as promised.The next phone call I got "the only time they have had the decency to call was to inform me that they would prefer that I pick the bike up and take it to someone else,this after 3 days of time wasting.I explained to the owner that customers are hard to get and easy to lose but that it was his decision,I got the impression that my job was put back to help more "regular" customers work out and as I said that wasnt really the way to treat people,try to be honest and if you are unable to do what you say tell people in good time rather than just leave them in the lurch!
