A welcoming, 18th century Pub and Dining Venue situated in the black and white hamlet of Tilley, hidden away on the outskirts of Wem in North Shropshire. The pub has been recently modernised, whilst still retaining it's character features such as oak floors, a log fire and an Inglenook fireplace. We also have a large car park space for customers and a heated outdoor area for smokers.

We are Camra & Cask Marque accredited and an avid supporter of local micro breweries from within the area of Shropshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire. We stock four good local trad beers including Wem Brewery & Hobsons which compliments our great tasting food, which is made to order using fresh local produce whenever possible.

We host a Live Music Night every Friday with artists starting at 9:30pm after food service. So please feel free to stop by the Tilley Raven and enjoy a drink or a meal. Families with children are also welcome and we hope to see you soon. Gift Vouchers are available if you would like to treat friends or family.   A group of 10 of us went to the Tilley Raven a couple of weeks ago and all left full and very happy. We had different starters and seven different main courses plus various desserts. All were superb and all the dishes went back almost clean enough to use again!!! We're a fairly fussy lot and all agreed that The Raven is definitely going to be on our regular list of eateries. The place was absolutely heaving, but we were speedily served by very pleasant staff, and cannot fault the place. Well done.

  This restaurant has no concept of customer service. After calling in advance to ask for a vegan option, we arrived to be greeted by a rude, ignorant chef who had no concept of what a vegan is. Instead of offering suggestions - i would have been happy with a salad - he decided to debate with me and insist I provide him with reason for not drinking milk. He couldn't understand the difference between coconut milk and cow's milk and told me that drinking milk is "no different to suckling your mother's breast" I quote verbatum. If you have any special dietary requirements avoid this location as you will leave hungry and fed up.
