Our original ethos was, and is still, a passion for helping individuals transform their house into a home. Our speciality is beautiful made to measure curtains, but we also offer a fantastic range of soft furnishings and a distinctive furniture collection as well as other household items to enhance the look of your home.

Homecraft Interiors was founded by the current owner, Heather Dickenson in 1992. Heather moved to Nottingham at the age of 15 and began working in textiles one year later. Heather's two daughters, Helen and Joanne were the inspiration for her business venture which was initially seen as a way of making money to support her children. The business originated in the family home as Heather made curtains for friends and family, but quickly expanded due to her determination and reputation for high quality work. Five years later in 1996, Heather introduced Homecraft to the High Street when she opened a shop on Central Avenue in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Heather has been using her wealth of fabric knowledge and interiors know-how to help customers improve the look of their home ever since.

Heather's daughter, Joanne joined the team in 2006 to run Homecraft's second shop in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottingham. Joanne is now a partner in the company, making it a family business.

Joanne joined Homecraft from Per Una at Marks and Spencer where she was employed as part of the buying team. Joanne has a natural eye for interior design and fabrics and has a degree in Textiles. She is further developing her skills with various interior design courses.

In 2007, Homecraft moved from West Bridgford to their current location in Wollaton. The new shop offers customers an improved range of products in a more spacious setting.
