Worton Cottage Industry are a Wooden Toy Wholesaler,established in 1997, We are an importer of an original colourful selection of traditional wooden toys and manufacturers of handmade fabric items. All of our products are manufactured at our headquarters in Sri Lanka. Being Based in Sri Lanka allows us to use the hardwearing wood from the Rubberwood and Albizia Falcataria trees. These trees are farmed only when they no longer produce their respective products and are replaced by new saplings long before we remove them. It also allows us to complete our service as a "Fair Trade" business and as the founders of the SwimLanka charitable trust set up in the wake of the Nine Point Zero 2004 tsunami.

Since 2002 Worton Cottage Industry has been producing all of our fabric toys at the Sri Lankan base and once again the raw materials are purchased locally and from environmentally friendly producers. As a Fair Trade industry we have to maintain the levels set by the Fair Trade Partnership, this includes ensuring all of our suppliers follow these strict guidlines. To ensure this we regularly visit all our external producers at their factories and work premises to ensure quality and conformity.
