A Guide to Your Cigar:
Long or Short:
A cigar's flavour develops as you smoke it. Often its true potential is not revealed until the halfway stage. To do it justice pick the length according to the time you have available. A shorter cigar may be more suitable for a beginner.
Large or Small Ring Gauge:
Larger ring gauge would tend to offer fuller flavours than slender ones even with the same marque. However, larger ring gauge cigars will take substantially longer to smoke.
Specific to Cuban Cigars:
Full or Light:
Even the lightest Cuban cigar is stronger than any other cigar in the world, so do not be fooled by the definition of flavour, 'Light'. 'Light' bodied Cuban cigars should be chosen by newcomers to cigars, but can be enjoyed by all. 'Medium' through to 'Full' bodied cigars are only recommended for the experienced connoisseur. One should never follow a full bodied cigar with a lighter one.
