An Oasis, hidden in the very centre of this small Medieval Town and Historic Port of Kings Lynn. The original building dates back to Victorian times when it was the private residence of a prominent Kings Lynn businessman. It is ideally situated and it would be hard to find a more pleasant place to stay since it is quiet and restful in its own grounds but yet very central. The hotel was purchased by David Armes the proprietor, in late 1995 and a great deal of refurbishment has taken place in recent years.
The individually styled bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped, with the honeymoon suite boasting a romantic four poster bed and jacuzzi bath! All 18 rooms are en-suite and have:- Tea and coffee making facilities~ Television, Radio~ Hair dryer and Telephone.
Downstairs there are two pleasant reception areas, a popular bar with a cosy open fire, (listed in the Camra "Good beer guide") and the Stuart Restaurant where the emphasis is on superb quality and good value. There are two gardens, one on either side of the building. The West facing garden is for residents only while that on the East side adjoining the car park is used as a small beer garden.
