My case is exactly the same as some of the other people who, just like me, were unfortunate enough to trust our hard earned money in the hands of those scoundrels and liars. They sent me the booking confirmation full of mistakes and I kept calling the agent called Solomon and he kept avoiding my calls and I was always told that he is either on holiday or busy and that I would get a call back. If, by mistake, the agent would pick the phone up, he would tell me that he would come back to me in "30 to 40 minutes". Those 30-40 minutes has now turned into months. My flight was supposed to be on 11/08/11. Today (05/08/11), I was finally told that my booking had been cancelled because "the airline refused to book me because of my long surname". Thankfully I was booked with same airline by another travel agent and they told me that the excuse Skymasters gave me to cancel my booking is utterly absurd. No airline will ever refuse to book a passenger on the grounds that the passenger's name is too long. Now, Skymasters owe me £449 for this booking cancellation. I was told by one the managers called Harry and by this agent called Solomon that they will pay a cheque of £449 into my bank account on Monday 08/08/11, which I sincerely hope they will. They have made of my life a living hell in the past few months. I have never been so outraged to such a degree in my entire life. If the money is not paid back into my account by Monday 08/08/11, I will report them not only to the Trading Standards, but to every government office with deals with rogue traders like them and will also take them to court. And I don't care how much it will cost me to prosecute Skymasters with the full force of the law. I wish I had never given them money for something I thought was going to be a good deal and turned out to be a complete nightmare.
