Jabula is a South African restaurant in the North West. It is situated near the City of Chester and only 3 minutes from the well-known Outlet Village at Cheshire Oaks. Jabula serves traditional South African dishes such as Bobotie, Pap en Wors and Vetkoek. We also serve game including Kudu, Springbok and Crocodile. The not so adventurous can try our char grilled steaks, including T-bone steak, served with a variety of sauces. We also offer poultry, fish, pasta as well as Vegetarian dishes. At lunch time we have a special lunch time menu for those who prefer only a light lunch, but you can still order from the main menu if you feel more peckish. You can try traditional South African desserts including melktert and koeksisters. Children are welcome and we offer a special kiddies menu. We serve a wide range of South African wines including KWV Rooderberg and -Cabernet Sauvignon. We stock a variety of beers including South African favourites such as Castle, Lion, Windhoek and Hansa Pilsner. Jabula is also a coffee shop between mealtimes. Jabula as an African word meaning happy or joy. Jabula has a very unique setting. It is situated on the waterfront of the Manchester Ship Canal. Here you can watch the ships sail past while enjoying a cold Castle beer or a glass of South African Red wine!. Jabula is owned and managed by Annemarie Groenewald. Annemarie also owns Africa 2 U next to Jabula. Africa 2 U sells unique South African art and gifts. Africa 2 U also supplies a wide range of South African foods, biltong, dry wors, beer, wine and much more. Jabula is easily accessible from the M53 motorway and has its own allocated parking. Jabula also caters for special functions and parties using the main restaurant at the ground floor as well as a large lounge area upstairs.
