Premium Quality Brake Pads
All our brake pads comply fully with European R90 Regulations. However, we are pleased to announce the introduction of a premium range of brake pads designed to reduce the problem of brake noise by having a rubber coated metal shim affixed to the backing plate of the brake pad. We believe that having these shims is significantly more successful than the often used method of painting the pad backing plate with rubberised or "gel-like" materials. Also, although our pads may be "premium" in quality, they are certainly not "premium" in price - you may well find that our premium pads actually cost less than other people's budget pads and, of course, if price is an issue, we still have our normal range of E90 approved brake pads at low low prices.
VAT Rate
As you know, the rate of VAT went back up at the beginning of the year to 17.5%. However, at Abbey Park Motor Spares, we've decided to cut all our prices so that you won't be effected by the VAT increase. So if something cost £10 including VAT in 2009, it will still cost you only £10 including VAT in 2010. We know that some big stores are doing the same as us for a week or a month, but at Abbey Park Motor Spares, we are going to keep 2009 pricing for the whole year! So, as long as our cost price (excluding VAT) doesn't change - the price you pay (including VAT) won't change either (so long as the rate of VAT doesn't go up again). Just our way of saything thank you for all your support duing the past year.
