Wigan is a town in Lancashire in the north west of England. Lying approximately half way between Liverpool and Manchester, the town has a surprising mix of shopping facilities, pubs, clubs and restaurants alongside stunning countryside that is only a short drive away. Local attractions include historic Wigan Pier which gives an insight into what life was like in Victorian times and includes the marvellous Trencherfield Mill Engine, Haigh Hall And Country Park and high octane thrills at the Three Sisters Racetrack.
