Oldham is a large town in Lancashire in the North West of England. Situated on the edge of Greater Manchester, Oldham was historically a mill town, playing an inportant part in the regions textile industries. These days Oldham boasts a vibrant nightlife, mainly situated around Yorkshire Street in the town centre as well as cultural attractions such as the Oldham Coliseum Theatre, Gallery Oldham and events such as Oldham Mela which reflect the wide cultural mix of the town.
