In April I ordered £900 worth of bathroom furniture from Bathroom Emporium, I was told the items were in stock and would be delivered 1-2 weeks from payment as stated on the website. By the end of April these had still not arrived. At the beginning of May I phoned back and spoke to a different sales person. He said my order was not in stock and that it would be another 3-4 weeks before they could deliver. I asked for a refund and the sales man said that he was refunding me as we spoke. The refund never materialised. I then visited their showroom in Lancaster, when I got there it was in a old mill house with broken windows and signs everywhere saying 'no photography' and broken and discarded taps and other plumbing materials everywhere. This was not the state of the art showroom described on their website. I met and spoke to the sales man, the showroom manager and the office manager and spent about an hour trying to persuade them to refund my card. Both women explained in a hostile and extremely rude that they would not refund me. I eventually left empty handed, very upset, and the price of a train ticket down. I really wish I had never bought anything from this company, they delivered nothing, lied to me at every stage, were extremely rude and aggressive, took my money under false pretences and held onto my money for as long as they possibly could, avoid them at all costs.
