This family-owned and managed park offers a high standard of service in its annual season from 1st March to 31st October each year (an optional extended season to 10th January available).
Set in a quiet and secluded part of North Lancashire, 80 acres of woodland surround the site which you can enjoy as you wander its paths viewing some of the native wildlife including deer, foxes, squirrels, rabbits, badgers and an abundance of birdlife.
Old Hall Caravan Park is a member of the BH&HPA, graded 5 stars; and is graded AA 3 pennants.
The Park is carefully set out so that holiday homes are partially concealed by trees and separated by generous open grass areas. Unique to the Park is the fact that although it is perfectly secluded, views can be seen of the surrounding country area, from Morecambe Bay to the mountains of the Lake District. All pitches are fully serviced including a piped television signal which provides excellent reception.
The touring park at Old Hall was opened for the beginning of the 1995 season. The spacious toilet and shower block is complete with facilities for the disabled. All showers, and the use of hairdryers, are free. Electricity hookup is standard on all pitches and electricity is included in the long-stay prices. The season in which you are able to use your caravan is from March 1 to January 10.
Being completely separate from the rest of the park, the area for touring caravans is set in a beautiful woodland clearing, sheltered from the wind and providing a pleasant suntrap, with a small picturesque stream running by. All touring pitches are hard standing, with electricity supply and television hookup points. The pitches are surrounded by generous open grassy areas, and there is a centrally-heated toilet & shower facility, disabled/family room, dishwashing area, laundry and chemical emptying facility. The security barrier is locked at night.
Old Hall Caravan Park is one of the most peaceful caravan parks in the North West of England. The park is ideally situated in the quiet hamlet of Capernwray. Not only is it minutes away from the M6 but also it is two miles from the village of Over Kellet and three miles from the market town of Carnforth. In addition the site is conveniently located for days out to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
