Upholstery service under taken, re-covering mostly in fabrics. Dining Chairs, 3 Piece Suites, Settees and Arm Chairs, Nursing, Library, Occasional Chairs. Also Office Screens and Bedroom furniture
We also offer a repair (or "re-seat") service for sagging furniture (usually settees and arm chairs). As an example, a recent customer had purchased a 3 piece suite from a chain store. She was very happy with it but found that, after around 2 years, the seat bases stopped giving support - support where it's needed most. The customer complained to the chain store only to be told that "customer misuse" was the reason. She left, believing that her only choice was to either live with it and make do or replace. Luckily, she was referred to me by a friend and I was able to renew the spring bedding for a substantial amount less than the cost of a replacement. If you feel uncomfortable with your seating area/platfom/backs/arms/outback/outer arm/inner arm I can replace linings, springs, elasticated webbing etc... On numerous occasions, I have been able to remove the fabric very carefully so as to re-use it, allowing for an extremely economical repair, without having the whole suite re-covered!
