This award winning family-run guesthouse is the Garden of England's greatest secret. Located on the doorstep of Europe, it is close to many attractions and places of interest. Located only 2.3 Miles from the Channel Tunnel, Garden Lodge is perfectly situated for Guests wanting to cross the Channel.

Garden Lodge features very comfortable accommodation. Tastefully decorated single, double, twin and family rooms are available. All rooms have a TV, DVD/Video player, alarm clock radio, central heating, electric shaver points, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobes and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Refrigerators are provided in selected rooms.

All rooms are equipped with en suite shower facilities.

We also offer one room with a beautiful draped Four Poster bed. For guests with children we can provide cots and highchairs. Children of all ages are catered for and families are welcome.

Located on one acre, the guest house is set in extensive gardens providing hours of relaxation and amusement for all ages. The aviaries house a variety of beautiful birds including a Chinese Golden Pheasant, and there are rabbits and other pets. If guests are travelling with their own pets, local boarding can be arranged. The wishing well barbecue comes into its own during the summer months, as does the superb solar heated swimming pool with mosaic steps and hand rails for easy access. Surrounded by patios it is the perfect place to while away the balmy summer days and evenings. The small patio by the carp pond is a quiet place to relax while the children frolic on the climbing frame. Or take a stroll around the flowers.

Full Restaurant service is available at Garden Lodge. Open to residents and non-residents, our beautiful restaurant provides a happy, informal family atmosphere for all your meals.

Proprietress Sue is a fully qualified Chef who caters for all tastes and dietary needs however unusual they may be.

Dishes feature fresh vegetables and fruit grown in Garden Lodge's own garden as well as meats and fish bought fresh from local suppliers. Cakes and pastries are homemade.
Homemade jams and preserves are served with your breakfasts and cream teas.

Dinner served from 18:00 to 19:30 hrs. Tables must be reserved.
During the summer months we serve delicious traditional Kentish cream teas in the garden by the pool. All year long guests and visitors may enjoy our traditional Sunday Lunch dining room or outside on the patio. This is quite popular, so please book in advance.

For early risers Continental breakfasts are always available. And for our guests on the go we can provide packed lunches.
