Platform Lifts

The Niche Platform, (or wheelchair) Lift works on the self-sustaining screw and nut principle, which means that it is extremely safe. The lift is mounted as a self-supporting shaft with a built-in guide rail, which means that it can be installed directly on the ground floor. No pit is necessary. The design does not rely on an adjoining wall or stairs for support. Because of the unit's design, the total installed price is much lower than that of a traditional lift. Running and service costs are also low. Servicing can be done from inside the lift car which means very low running and service costs. The lift's controls and buttons are arranged for the wheelchair user and can be easily operated from a seated position. The lift has constant pressure buttons as standard equipment. Options of door arrangement, number of stops, glass shaft, powered doors etc enable us to tailor the lift to your application.

Stair Lifts

The Niche Stair Lift is intended for all types of transportation of people, in a wheelchair or using a walker. It is as well suited for a person sitting in a wheelchair as a person standing due to the sturdy handrail that encloses the platform. The non-slip floor and sensitive platform edges make our stair lift extremely safe to ride. The platform and safety barriers fold and unfold automatically. The Niche stair lift is extremely safe, having its mechanism totally enclosed. When not in use the Niche stair lift can have its platform folded back against the wall, providing clear access to the stairway for the able bodied. Every model in our range comes in the form of a self-contained kit complete with its own self-supporting structure, thereby minimising site installation time. All parts incorporated in the lift carry a twelve-month guarantee. The Niche Service lift is available in three basic configurations; Hotel and Restaurant, retail store and industrial. Load capacity, single or three phase power, travel speed, number of stops, car dimensions, entrance type and finishes can all be selected to customise the lift for your specific site requirements
