Douglas is the capital of the Isle Of Man which lies in the Irish Sea off the North West of England. At just 33 miles long by 13 miles wide, the island is easily explored and Douglas is an excellent base to do so from. It is a unique city in that it is a finance centre, holiday resort and working harbour all rolled into one. Its promenade is a 'must visit' with trips on its horse drawn trams attracting thousands of tourists every year. Other attractions include the Villa Marina And Gaiety Theatre Complex, the Manx Museum and Nobles Park.
