Crisis response leadership development
We focus on helping leaders and teams who are responsible for responding to serious incidents or crises in their organisations, whether it be from natural hazards, terrorist attack, loss of utilities or data. Our emphasis is on the human dimensions of crisis leadership; how decision-making under super-stressed conditions may affect performance; failures to recognise changing situations etc. We offer tailored, modular programmes that include crisis communications, leadership functions in a crisis, building emotional resilience in your team, and provide practical toolkits that work under pressure.
Individual and team development
We work closely with clients to identify performance gaps, using a rigorous evidence-base, based on a variety of psychometric and other analytical tools so that interventions match the individual and organisational goals. We design and deliver practical workshops, with supporting material, that are memorable and ensure that differing learning styles are accommodated. We have accredited NLP practitioners and psychometric profilers that support design and delivery of programmes.
Student leadership development
We design and deliver leadership development programme in schools, based on a gap analysis of the school's current activities. We believe that in order to lead others, it is essential to be able to lead oneself, so we begin in Year 9 with a programme of discovery about self - how we use information and make decisions, how we relate to others etc; in Years 10 or 11 we include creative problem-solving and in the Sixth Form we focus on roles and responsibilities of appointment holders, such as prefects, helping them to create action plans. All development is underpinned by fun and memorable action-centred learning, which is designed to be inductive. Staff are also trained in the tools and techniques to embed the learning so that life-long skills are learnt. we also run a special programme to help overcome exam nerves.
