David believes 'your image counts'. It's not a catchphrase but a belief that the true personality and spirit of a person or at the very least a glimpse of it can and should be conveyed in their portrait. It's not about creating a good likeness it's about giving life to the portrait and a glimpse within the person portrayed.
Whether you're buying a ready made portrait that moves you or you're sitting for your own you can be sure that David spends the time getting to know the subject of his portraits and that this is evident in the digital art he produces.
The time has come for the commissioning of portraits to become commonplace again and to be the artwork of choice in peoples homes.
David has a Diploma in Professional Photography from the Photography Institute and is working towards his Licentiateship with The Royal Photographic Society he is also currently undertaking a City & Guilds Level 3 in Advanced Portrait & Wedding Photography with First Point Photography.
After that he will be embarking on his BA (Hons) Photography Degree something he has long wished to achieve.
He is fully CRB checked (enhanced disclosure) as is his wife who sometimes assists on photo shoots and certificates can be viewed on request.
