Stroud
Stroud is a town in Gloucestershire in the South West of England, close to the Cotswold Hills. This charming market town is known for its hilly location and attracts visitors from around the world who flock to this regional centre for arts and crafts.
Stroud was once a major mill town with over 150 mills at the height of the industrial revolution though modern day Stroud is home to industries such as light manufacturing and the town is also famous for the manufacture of baize cloth to cover snooker tables.
