Walton Hall Museum and Village Bakery

Based in Linford in Essex, Walton Hall Museum is owned by enthusiastic collector Frank Wood. The products of Franks passion for collecting are housed inside an impressive 17th century restored Essex Barn. Displays include; Farming implements, Automobile memorabilia, Artefacts from both World Wars, Childrens toys, Victoran nursery including many Perambulators, Radios and many many more long forgotten items and Household goods. Outside there is lots more to see including; Farm Machinery, Vintage Tractors, Vintage Rollers. Other outside displays include; Blacksmiths, Harness maker and much much more. For the children we have a park with slides, climbing frames etc, Drawing room where they can create brass rubbings and copycat drawings. Another outside play area consisting of sit on toys, go-carts and much more.

Walton Hall Campsite

We have a beautifully kept touring campsite if you like peace & quiet this may be for you. Most of our caravan pitches are hard standing and all have electric hook up. We also have grass areas if you prefer to stay in a tent! We have toilets and Elsan disposal as well as a shower on a slot meter. There is a BBQ which you are welcome to use. We are situated within a 10 - 15 min walk from East Tilbury Train station which is on the Fenchurch Street line so ideal for trips to London, Southend-on-sea etc.

Walton Hall Museum Paranormal Investigations

Walton Hall Museum is now taking bookings for Paranormal Investigations, the main barn dates back to the 17th century but the whole site including the surrounding areas of Mucking date back to Roman Times so there is plenty of history to be found. Walton Hall Museum has already held a number of successful investigations. Your group must hold full Public Liability Insurance cover to hold an investigation at Walton Hall Museum A deposit will be required at the time of booking to secure your place; your group should consist of a minimum of 8 people.
