Online Group.

Formed in 1983, the Online Group started trading as Online Roadways providing daily hire of vehicles and drivers for multi-drop deliveries throughout the South East of England and is based in Chadwell Heath, Essex. Many of the original vehicles were constructed to petroleum regulations (HazPak), and as a result the business grew by servicing the chemical and paint manufacturing industries. Our attention to detail in providing a high quality and reliable service to our clients, resulted in recommendations to other industries including major car manufacturers who, because of their system of "just in time" production concepts, demand the highest level of reliability. Online Roadways became contractors to the automotive manufacturing community and were utilised for the collection and delivery of air-freight for urgent parts to maintain the manufacturers production lines.

Online Roadways

Online Roadways operates a fleet of some 80 vehicles ranging from 1500 kilo to 38T 13.6 meters trailers which are equipped and maintained to the highest standards. All local delivery vehicles are fitted with in-cab communications, and due to the variety of contracts that we currently serve, the vehicles are fitted with various types of specialised equipment. Our warehouse facilities in Chadwell Heath are both clean and modern together with excellent storage facilities for all types of freight including Zone I & II ADR. We can provide pallet handling, order processing and routing for next day delivery within the home counties and national cover within consortium. Break bulk to order assembly for multi-drop deliveries is a speciality. The site is protected with 24 hour security guards and both external and internal CCTV and alarm systems.

PalletFORCE Quality Distribution Network

PalletFORCE is a national network of 60 strategically located depots offering palletised distribution throughout the UK and EIRE. Like spokes in a wheel each member depot delivers to a central hub in the Midlands and collects goods for their home areas for the return load. In this way large efficiencies can be achieved over conventional methods of distribution to the benefit of both customers and the environment. Unlike most other networks PalletFORCE is owned entirely by its members who therefore have a special interest in providing a high quality, efficient service.
