Perfect fit blinds are becoming the most popular choice for the conservatory, they can also fit to most standard upvc windows. Availiable with rollers, venetians and pleated blinds. Also availiable for velux style windows. The roller, vertical, pleated and roman blinds we supply are already made locally. To this list we can now add metal venetian blinds. Local manufacturing gives Pinfarthings customers, reliable delivery times, and it gives us substantial savings on packaging, because we do not need to use outside carriers.

Premises often have electronic security, but to today's thief it proves inadequate. All this can leave you in a very insecure position. The Extendor range of retractable security grilles are designed to give maximum strength, yet with careful consideration to aesthetics - so it looks good too. Extendor acts as a strong physical barrier to would be intruders then retracts to visually blend into door and window frames when not in use. Your premises may already be protected by a form of security system. But ask yourself this: would it actually stop an intruder gaining entry into your premises? An Extendor grille does not necessarily replace your existing security arrangements, but enhances them - giving you integrated total protection. Extendor's pedigree has been evolved using design techniques and materials paralleled only in the aerospace industry, hence a reputation that is the envy of others throughout the industry. Extendor provides the ultimate barrier.
When sunshine penetrates the glazing on a building it can heat up the inside of the premises to such a point that it causes discomfort to the staff. This situation occured on TBS Ltd's new book distribution centre at Frating, Essex. To overcome the problem, the company had Madico Duralux 500 window film, type SG340X-K Neutral Grey, applied to the outer face of the glass. Duralux 500 films reject solar heat through a combination of reflecting and absorbing the sun's rays and hence reduced the eat gain at Frating to an acceptable level. Duralux 500 films have a special finish made of Kynar® polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), which is a long-lasting exterior coating suitable for use on the external surface of double glazed units. Using it on the outside ensures that unwanted heat is deflected back into the atmosphere before it actually gets to the glass. This means that the glass is not subjected to high levels of heat gain that could occurif the film were installed on the inside, and therefore reduces the risk of the glass in sealed double glazed units cracking as a result of thermal stress.
