Modular Buildings
Our Modular Building System for new buildings utilises the superior construction of fully welded cold rolled steel frames rather than just bolted connections. This results in a very rigid building which is unlikely to distort during transportation, and therefore simplifies installation. It also gives a very long service life.
Normal bay width is 3.0m, with standard spans ranging in length from 6.0m to 12.0m, with the most popular and economical being 9.6m, however, we can accommodate non standard units easily, and can also construct "back to back" systems.
External claddings range from economical Resin Textured Coating, through various steel finishes including Plastisol, timber, Aggregate Stoneflex, to a traditional brick with a pitched roof which gives the impression, and to all intents and purposes is, a traditionally constructed building but at a much reduced cost.
Units and Storage.
Jackleg Cabins can provide the ideal, instant, solution in many cases where additional accommodation is required.
A full range of standard sizes are available from 12ft x 9ft (3.6m x 2.7m) to 60ft x 12ft (18.0m x 3.6m) although new cabins can be manufactured to non standard dimensions where a particular space restriction dictates this. Most of the details concerning our standard jackleg range also apply to our Steel Anti-vandal Cabins, however, these units offer a much increased level of strength and security.
All external doors are fitted into a purpose made steel frame, and have 5 lever high security mortise locks as standard. The aluminium framed sliding windows are fitted with side hung, internally operated, steel shutters with hold open catches.
They can be fitted out internally to your specification, and the external steel cladding painted in your company livery.
In addition to supplying virtually every type of modular and portable accommodation unit, Anglia Portable Buildings can carry out all of the ancillary works required to get your building "up and running".
This includes the clearing and preparation of the site, and constructing the foundations, which are generally pads or strips, laying drainage runs if required, and bringing to the building and connecting all of the services.
