WELCOME "Life is a Song" and the best way to express this premise is with the music of the easy listening singers. David has built his cabaret act around the music of Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Matt Munro, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin. He has proved extremely popular with not only the older generation who can actually recall the Big Band era but also with young people many of whom are beginning to appreciate the music of their grandparents. David uses some excellent backing music for his shows, the first half of which centres on the styles of Como Munro etc. but the second half is dedicated to the master himself, Frank Sinatra. The result is a real swinging affair. David also works with a trio of piano, bass and drums for those events that prefer live musicians and in fact can provide bands of up to 18 musicians for the bigger functions. Castaway Entertainment productions are not an agency but more of a contact point for other artists in a similar position.

About Us DAVID COE. Singer David does most of his work as a solo act in Hotels and Clubs but working with the Jazz Group or Big Band allows him that extra dimension. His influence comes from such artists as Frank sinatra, Perry Como, Nat King Cole, Matt Munro Tony Bennett, Dean Martin etc.

PAUL DAVIS . Musical Director , Pianist, Arranger ,Composer ,Trombonist just a few of Pauls many talents. He has been M.D for such greats as Duke Ellington,Sarah Vaughan ,Billy Eckstine, Buddy Greco,Rosemary Squires Hilda Baker. All the arrangements on the c.d were done by Paul. ROGER KERR. Drummer. Not only is Roger regularly on call for pantos, summer season and session work, but his teaching on the art of drumming is in great demand throughout South London. JOHN LEE..Saxophone.. John’s playing is held in high esteem by all his contemporaries and his interpretations always lifts the group to a new level. TIM DAVIES (orTJ) Double Bass. TJ is the consummate player, he just closes his eyes and is ‘gone’. A joy to watch and listen to.
