Perhay is managed by Charles Grover who has lived and worked in the West Country since 1961. Trained and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, Charles also farmed in Dorset for over 20 years. He now devotes all his time to growing his property search company. He has first-hand experience of many rural enterprises. When he was farming, he combined it with horse liveries and a thriving holiday cottage business. Charles is well known by many of the local estate agents and farmers. His many interests, including golf, cricket, horse racing and riding give him an excellent range of contacts often to the advantage of Perhay's clients.
Perhay acts only for our clients from the moment of registration - we do not sell or rent out properties, so there is no conflict of interest. As each client has different requirements, we need to obtain the fullest detail of their needs and aspirations, whether in relation to size, type or location.
We prefer an initial personal meeting at the client's own home, with both parties present if acting for a couple. Having taken a detailed brief, we search for suitable properties and undertake an initial inspection. This process is crucial as it results in a relatively smaller and more focused choice.
