Anglian has its own design team, keeping us ahead of the competition in design and innovation. Working closely with Research and Development, our products are designed to be fit for the purpose intended - both functionally or aesthetically. What's more, only top quality components are used, ensuring they last the pace of modern living. When it comes to manufacturing, Anglian has its own state-of-the-art manufacturing plants, covering an area equivalent to 40 football pitches. Our extrusion plant is one of the most technically advanced in Europe, and produces from raw polymer materials the profiles so important to many of our product ranges, giving us greater quality control and keener pricing. We have our own glass plant ensuring quality and self sufficiency, we also process our own sealed units to exacting specifications, and even toughen glass where the orders dictate. For our most popular PVCu window configurations, our revolutionary 'fastrack' line is used. It cuts the profile lengths as specified by the customer's survey, and then welds the lengths together to make the basic window. The process is totally automated, thus removing the chance of manual error.
The component parts: frames, sealed units, hinges and locks are all brought together and assembled by trained operators. Before leaving the factory, the windows are quality checked and approved. Anglian has a fleet of dedicated delivery vehicles, ensuring that our products reach our regional operational depots without damage, ready to be fitted to our customers homes.
