From Carl Chapman 20 Sept 2010 My wife and I used reviews to find a Chinese restaurant to eat at when we visited Bournemouth and came up with the e-Pan. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and the food was superb and reasonably priced. Although it is a little out of the town centre and takes a bit of finding (thank goodness for TomTom), it is well worth the effort. Carl, Leicester

markkent37 kent 10 Aug 2010 New wow service was so friendly and the food portions were huge. I enjoyed the platter very much it tasted so fresh. The chef even made an effort to come out and say hello. I hope one day they are able to open a restaurant in the town centre. keep up the excellent service

Recommended by Paul Heaney on (12th April 2010) you should not judge a book by its cover, well I usually disagree. However, in this case, what appears to be rather nondescript premises from the outside turns out to be a gem of a find for the quality of food here at E-Pan. The quality is so good it should be located in the centre of Bournemouth town so everyone could appreciate this wonderful Chinese cuisine that Louis Kwong and his family business serve up. The guy is as nice as his food, and hailing from Hong Kong - they do things fast there - you won't have to wait long from pan to plate to palate! This is Cantonese style cooking and ‘the real thing' according to my Chinese girlfriend - she thought the shrimps particularly good. Me? I liked most everything! Wash it down with some decent wine here too. Go once, and you'll be back time and time again. Can't wait to get back - I'm now in China - once bitten forever smitten!
