I booked in fto this salon as they bill themsaleves as 'top quality yet affordable'. I normally pay about £90 for highlights, but I needed to save money and their price is £50. I booked for a full head of woven highlights. 'No problem' I was told. The stylist spoke like she knew what she was doing. She decided that as there were so many colours in my hair she would give it an all over colour then highlight it from scratch. Instead of foils, I got two polythene bags over my head and my hair pulled through with a crochet hook. Apparently a "unique" technique. No, basically a cap technque I haven't seen since the 80s. I got one blond instead of the caramels and blonds she said she was doing. Then a toner, again a throwback to 80s. All the time the stylist was saying, it's a beautiful colour. I only saw just what she had done when I got into the car asa the salon was too dark. My hair is basically grey. Not a full head, it's looks like a seagull has crapped on my head and it has run down, all topped off with a nice orangey yellow streak down the front where the colour hasn't taken. Needless to say I am now having to go to a city centre salon and pay £90 to get it sorted out. I will be calling to get my money back, but they are so disillusioned about their skill level , billing themselves as 'award winning', not sure if I will get it. Horrendous. The most horrendous highlights I have ever seen. One star is too much!
