I am a qualified and experienced therapist, offering counselling for individuals, couples and families. I have consulting rooms in Plymouth & Exeter.
I have a background in mental health services and have experience with a broad range of issues.
I offer a safe, confidential space to explore whatever feels significant.
The first appointment is a space to explore what the main issues are, whether counseling will be helpful, and whether we feel comforable working together.
Counselling is a space where you can talk about whatever concerns you, without being rushed or judged. I provide a safe, confidential space, and have experience of working with a broad range of issues. I have a back ground in the field of mental health and have established a private practice in Plymouth & Exeter.
I am an Integrative Counsellor, which is a way of working which incorporates various models and theories within a framework, depending on what the person needs.
People seek counselling for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes, it is triggered by a particular life event, or a realisation that the way they have managed life isn't working for them any longer.
I have particular experience in working with women's issues, gender & cultural issues, and working with the impact of trauma and abuse. I am comfortable in supporting people with whatever they bring to therapy.
Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions you may have.
